KEN GENZINK, Board Chair
Ken joined the Great Lakes Urban board in 2017 and has since become the chair. He owns and operates two businesses—Genzink Steel and Code Blue. If you visit one of these businesses, you will find a positive, healthy work culture. The reason? Ken practices a form of servant leadership that supports each employee to achieve their best. Ken’s awareness that providing the right structure and supportive framework leads to higher levels of achievement is what generated his interest in Great Lakes Urban.
Ken’s business experience brings critical rigor and depth to Great Lakes Urban’s strategic planning and growth. His passion for creating the “one solution to solve 20 challenges” echoes his belief in the approach and potential power of asset-based community development. |
